Revealed: Aliyev family’s holding bought 50 percent of a luxury hotel in Bodrum

“Pasha Holding” has announced that it is investing in Turkey

Pasha Holding, which belongs to Azerbaijan’s ruling family, bought 50 percent of Mandarin Oriental, one of the most valuable tourist facilities in Bodrum, Turkey. 

The Turkish Oksijen newspaper shared information about this. The newspaper writes that although the holding does not appear to have a direct connection with the Aliyevs, according to records, its major partners are the two daughters of President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the information, Pasha Holding has accelerated its investments in Bodrum, the world-famous recreation center in Turkey. Allium Bodrum Resort & SPA located on the coast of Yalıkavak is also owned by Pasha Holding.  

“Mandarin Oriental” was built by the owner of ASTAŞ Holding, Vedat Ashci.

It was also reported on the official website of Pasha Holding that “Mandarin Oriental”, which was brought to Bodrum by ASTAŞ Holding in 2014, was awarded the best luxury hotel in Europe by the International Hotel Awards with 132 accommodation units.

“Turkey has an important place in the long-term investment strategies of our group,” said Jalal Gasimov, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Holding. 

It was also mentioned in the information that PASHA Holding currently operates in the markets of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, and Montenegro.
