In the first half of 2018, Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports grew 15% compared to the same period last year, totaling $846.5 million.
According to the
Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication
, the country’s top exports so far in 2018 are tomatoes ($140 million), gold ($60.7 million), and electrical energy ($54.6 million).
Fruits and vegetables were Azerbaijan’s biggest exports overall in the period January-June at $276.7 million.
The top five importers of Azerbaijan’s non-oil products are Russia ($319.9 million) Turkey ($180.1 million), Georgia ($74.1 million), Switzerland ($69.3 million), and China ($23.9 million). Russia accounts for 37.8% of Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports.
In 2017, Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports
