According to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), direct flights on the Baku\u2013Nakhchivan route have resumed as of March 9. The company states that starting March 10, flights on this route will continue as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AZAL noted that the situation is being monitored and necessary measures are being taken to ensure flight safety. Passengers will be informed about any possible changes to the flight schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, cargo vehicle traffic at the state border between Azerbaijan and Iran has also resumed. According to the Cabinet of Ministers, as of 10:00 a.m. on March 9, cargo transport of all types of vehicles, including transit shipments, has become possible again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All flights on the Baku\u2013Nakhchivan\u2013Baku route were canceled after drone attacks were reported from Iranian territory on Nakhchivan on March 5. On the same day, the Azerbaijani government temporarily suspended cargo vehicle movement at the Azerbaijan\u2013Iran border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
