His body has weakened to the point where he is wearing winter clothes in this hot weather, and he cannot walk independently,” Safarov stated, emphasizing the gravity of the situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gasimov’s lawyer, Rovshana Rahimli, confirmed that his condition is critical, noting that he now requires the use of a wheelchair. The lawyer reiterated that the charges against Gasimov, related to counterfeit currency, are baseless and politically motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The case also involves Gubad Ibadoglu, economist and former chairman of the Azerbaijan Democracy and Welfare Party.
