In September, that figured reportedly reached 10.0 percent. <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/statistics-explained\/index.php?title=Inflation_in_the_euro_area\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The information<\/a>\u00a0released by the UN Statistics Division (World of Statistics) also confirmed. According to the data, even higher inflation was recorded in Estonia: 24.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main component driving inflation in the region is energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highest annual indicator of energy was registered in September: it was 40.8 percent. This figure was 38.6 percent in August, and a month later an increase of more than 2 percent was observed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After energy, high inflation was recorded in food, alcohol and tobacco products, and this figure was 10.6 percent in August and 11.8 percent in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next comes non-energy industrial goods, which experienced 5.1 percent inflation in August and 5.6 percent in September. An increase in the prices of service fees was also observed &#8211; 3.8 percent in August and 4.3 percent in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for Azerbaijan&#8217;s neighbors, it was announced that the annual inflation rate in Turkey in September 2022 was 83.45\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbb.gov.tr\/enflasyon\/#:~:text=2022%20y%C4%B1l%C4%B1%20Eyl%C3%BCl%20ay%C4%B1nda%20T%C3%9CFE,y%C3%BCzde%2083%2C45%20d%C3%BCzeyinde%20ger%C3%A7ekle%C5%9Fmi%C5%9Ftir.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">percent<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geostat.ge\/media\/48606\/Inflation-Rate-in-Georgia%2C-September-2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to the information<\/a>\u00a0of the Georgian National Statistics Office\u00a0, in September 2022, the consumer price index increased by 0.8 percent compared to the previous one. As for annual inflation, it was 11.5 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/arka.am\/en\/news\/economy\/annual_inflation_in_armenia_in_august_2022_was_9_1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to the latest figures<\/a>\u00a0released by the National Statistical Committee of\u00a0Armenia, the 12-month consumer inflation in Armenia increased by 9.1 percent in August 2022. From July to August, the inflation rate increased by 0.2 percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In August 2022, inflation in Russia reached 14.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. From July 2022, a decrease of 15.1 percent was recorded.
