\n The term of the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan will be extended until 31 January 2021.\n<\/p>\n

\n The statement came from the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers on 8 December.\n<\/p>\n

\n According to the information, from 00:00 on 14 December to 00:00 on January 18, 2021, a strict quarantine regime will be applied.\n<\/p>\n

\n The statement mandates that restaurants and cafes will also close, save for delivery services\n<\/p>\n

\n In addition, the SMS permission system will be re-applied, and one may leave the house to purchase groceries and medicine, use banking or postal services.\n<\/p>\n

\n The first case of coronavirus in Azerbaijan was documented on 28 February. From then until 29 October, the daily infection was never reported to have reached a thousand.\n<\/p>\n
