\n The Investigation Department of Serious Crimes of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office interrogated the deputy chairman of the opposition Azerbaijani Popular Front Party (APFP) G\u00f6zel Bayramli today. The interrogation lasted more than five hours.\n<\/p>\n

\n She was summoned to give evidence in the case of allegedly forged information provided by the APFP given with the purpose of helping people receive political asylum abroad.\n<\/p>\n

\n After the interrogation Bayramli stated that she was called in only as a witness.\n<\/p>\n

\n “I was shown false certificates [by the investigators], asked about the identity of those to whom they were issued. In addition, I took a sample signature. I believe that this case is absolutely falsified\u201d.\n<\/p>\n

\n Note that the chairman of the Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli is also summoned for questioning to the Prosecutor General’s Office and must appear there on April 21.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
