\n The European Court of Human Rights released 15 verdicts on February 16, concerning cases of illegal detention, violation of freedom of assembly, fair investigation.\n<\/p>\n

\n 10 defendants whose rights were found to be violated were awarded between 9,000 – 12,000 euros \u2013 sums which the government of Azerbaijan is obliged to pay by nature of its being a signatory to the European Convent on Human Rights.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n Attorney Asabali Mustafayev reported that he will collect 9,700 euros in legal fees for his work on the 15 cases.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
