\n The second annual award ceremony of cultural diversity media prize \u201cADAMI\u201d was held in Kyiv, Ukraine on November 24 with participants present from the European Union\u2019s Eastern Partnership program: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.\n<\/p>\n

\n The winner of the ADAMI Media Prize for Information (non – fiction) was the film Forbidden Friends, which examined the story of two women living in Tbilisi: one an Armenian, one an Azerbaijani, and how they have had to maneuver at times in the face of challenges to what some may see as their \u2018unconventional\u2019 friendship.\n<\/p>\n

\n , the film goes back in forth between Edita Badasyan and Gunel Movlud as they discuss their friendship, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and other issues related to Armenia and Azerbaijan.\n<\/p>\n

\n According to Radio Azadliq, last year the same prize was won by Azerbaijani director, Oqtay Namazov, for his film, \u201c30 families.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
