Three people were arrested in relation to the explosion at the Location nightclub in the capital’s Sabail district.
They also received a restraint order.
Rasul Rasulova, an administrator at Merser Food LLC, who rented a catering facility responsible for complying with safety rules, was charged with violation of fire safety leading to death. Founder-manager of the LLC, Orkhan Safarov, received the same charge.
Ruslan Mammadov, an inspector of the 2nd Territorial State Fire Department of the State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was found guilty of negligence in the performance of his duties after the incident.
An explosion took place at the Location nightclub on the first floor of a residential building in Baku this week.
As a result, one person died and 37 people were injured. During the accident, fourteen cars, one apartment and two non-residential facilities were damaged.
