It should be of no interest of who Khadija is, does, friends with, argues, or says. Khadija is not a saint. Nor is she an angel. Khadija is not obliged to be a saint or an angel. No one can claim to be a saint or an angel anyway; it is nonsense to claim otherwise. Everyone makes mistakes and has their flaws.
There is only one truth to this story; one reason explaining what and why Khadija is going through these days. She has exposed many of the illegitimacies and fraud in her own country. This is why, she is persecuted, threatened, and today (December 5) arrested.
Now that Khadija is sentenced it is time for brownnosers to act. Those who have been after her, who have slandered and persecuted her, are paying their “respects”. And they are obliged to do so. These brownnosers must pay their dues eventually. After all they have been groveling all their lives, together with their wives, and their children. And tonight, these Azerbaijani men ready to discredit an Azerbaijani woman for just some pitiable handouts are going to obligingly accept what they are given and take their pity awards home, feeding their children. That is all I can say.
Here is an advice to you: why don’t all of you – who so eagerly accused, testified and discredited Khadija – look at your children’s faces tonight. Look into their eyes. And ask yourselves, all the while looking into their eyes, what it took you to put that bread onto the table tonight. Just think for a second. Nothing would be crueler than the look in their eyes.
Just think for a second what awaits your children in the future. For the rest of their lives, they are going to be mocked for what you have done. Surely, there can’t be a more severe punishment for you than this.
Tonight, a prostitute feeding her children with whatever she makes is a million times more honorable than you. A child fed by a prostitute mother is a lot happier than your child. At least these children will have something to say in their defense, unlike yours. There is not a bigger insult for you than this.
There are two kinds of people in Khadija’s case, those standing by Khadija and those against. But not to worry for all your declarations, appearances and statements are being watched. And your names are written for the sake of history, to curse the generations coming next.
