63-year-old Yashar Jafarov, an IDP from Zangilan district, was remembered for his comments at a protest rally in 2019. He faced police resistance during the protest, which was demanding the liberation of the occupied territories. He says that when the police grabbed him that day, all hopes of returning to Zangilan were dashed. However, when he saw the enthusiasm of the conscripts on September 27, he again believed that the lands would be taken.
