Google Maps navigation is canceled in Baku

Public transport routes on Google Maps are being canceled in Baku. The service, developed in 2014 together with the project Transit for Baku, has stopped the integration of bus data into Google Maps.

According to the website of Transit for Baku, the Baku Transport Agency (BTA) delays information on routes, and leaves unanswered Transit for Baku requests, which makes impossible for Google Maps’ service to be updated on real-time.

Transport expert Eldaniz Jafarov told Meydan TV that the cancellation will be felt in Baku, creating serious problems for passengers and additional traffic jams.
