Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev appointed Tahir Tagizadeh as Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Prior to the appointment Tagizadeh served as ambassador in Czech Republic. Previously he served as a spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and secretary at the embassy of Azerbaijan to the United States of America
